16 Life Goals Of A Medico @ 22

Heyyyaa!
Final year . Heading towards 22nd year of existence . Goals ?Definitely the ones below :

1) Be a sponge

Learn everything about my clinicals and theory. Do everything I can to be the most knowledgeable person in the room.

2) Travel often

Take every possible medical conference and organisation while I am still an undergraduate while on the road, watch and grasp Learning how to travel efficiently is not a luxury as your career progresses, it’s expected. Plus, you never know what adventures you’ll have, people you’ll meet, or life lessons you’ll gain.

3) Think globally

Study different languages like Arabic , Hindi , Telugu , Kannada , Persian ,Malyalam and Tamil and then I rule the world ; understand how people work across the globe.

4) Never say ‘no'

Take on any project that will progress my  knowledge , confidence and experience; better yet, seek them out. Be proactive. Be positive. And most of all, be a team player.

5) Be collaborative

You don’t always have to be a ‘bull in a china shop.’ It isn't what I accomplish, it was how it was accomplished that is remembered.Hence the lazy bums are on a rise these days .

6) Find a mentor

To Seek out someone who sees potential in me and can help me navigate my career. Be organized and thoughtful with this person.

7) Therapist

To learn to differentiate between a mentor and a therapist is another task because with the typical human lady nature we tend to *roast and cook up * people's minds and they think twice before talking to us as they are inviting our 2 hour raga in exchange of the 2 minutes of mentor ship.
But then crying your heart loud before anybody and everybody is a big no no . Flush out those toxic thoughts to people who can eliminate or control them rather than the house flies (vectors) who leave the toxic bits on every station they visit.

8) Balance

When we make time for activities outside of college, we end up being more productive while in the college . The books become interesting , because we don't load the same things over again and again. We tend to utilise college hours effectively rather than merely following a routine.

9) Get out of your comfort zone

I don't stray out of my comfort zone regularly. And I realize now I should have. Being uncomfortable actually makes us a smarter worker. We find the easiest ways to get things done . The 10 hour halt on the same lesson is not in any more . You learn time management .

10) Pick your role wisely

In full disclosure, I borrowed this advice from a doctor .
Women: Donot take an assistant position, unless it’s your dream job. Once you’re an assistant, it’s incredibly difficult to change that perception to peers and superiors. But our profession is not so cliche... We evolve day by day.

11) Stop bragging
About my lazy lad life and accomplishments.
Attempt to be the bigger person.
Rise to the occasion and be nice to everyone. Never burn bridges. What goes around comes around and it will always bite you in the ass.Learnt it . Application time.

12) My brand
Because brand is everything . There is always a standard you have to maintain . There is no rumor that can beat that reputation.
“Your brand is what people say about you when you’re not in the room.”

13) Charity
- not to be disclosed -

14) Spiritual Upliftment

15) Starting an awareness scheme

16) Business start-up

Okay then .
So far so much .
