Survival in a medical school Part 1

Hello my dear readers I had a tan due to the heat wave in my college recently... What kind of heat wave ? Let me explain. After the first internal assessment exams were done .I found grumpy ladies packs. I won't disclose who was who ... And what they were muttering  .But yeah... Some moral science lecture to help you survive in a medical school. Don't be surprised if you find any of these. If you have passed the first year in medicine , you'll know 80% of these already. -People will study without telling you.  -They will apply for that job. -They will have the paper leaked.  -They will connect with the professors without letting you know.  Solution : -Don’t be heartbroken.  -Keep your expectations low and embrace simplicity.    -Do what you want to do irrespective of what others think.  Because what is meant to be yours will fly from Mars just to be in your platter. So far so much  Bye

8 hiccups in my college

Hi people Typecasting has taken a backseat . It's the complain thing again!!! 1. Not much product variety My college is at an isolated place and hardly anything is found in the vicinity. The only place you find food in is your canteen . The same thing everyday ! 2. Fashion Trends Since it's a Muslim Minority College . Everything you choose from the market is with atleast ten other girls . Don't be surprised when a girl catches hold of you and says , even I have the same Palazzo.  3.You can't disappear The population of the college is just 400 right now. With around 80 interns, world only gets smaller. Then 100 freshers make it very very small. If you ever feel like removing your hijab , your classmates  best friend who is also your relative will blabber it all through . Or you bunk a class and the attender tells this to the management . Basically , in VRK everybody knows everybody, there is nothing as such like a celebrity.  You can't pretend like things never  happ

Must Forget Items- VRK facts

Hey all We forget things for good . But sometimes you fall into trouble. Once a medico , you ought to remember things at right time. Here is a funny note of the things we often miss out ( My colleagues). 1 . Apron  Rush to the hostel as fast as possible. You know your worth when you are denied an apron . 2. Lunch Thanks to the tight bus schedule and the impatient drivers , one often forgets or in a jiffy forgets to get lunch. 3. Pen You loose it after you lend it to someone to sign in the register . Or you never bothered to have one. 4. Hallticket Not so essential yet essential commodity for internals too! That panic to get into the hall is so draining! 5. Record Remember Biochemistry days. The only department that troubled me to get the record and ACTUALLY marked people absent. The only record where you sincerely jot down the CORRECT finding. 6. Headphones Listening frOm Nasheed to Qirat or Beyonces latest number . How do you kill time in the bus? 7. Charger Now that the ever long jou

15 Times You wanted to QUIT Medicine

Hi fellas! Today is again a frustration flush day in my diary. All of end up in medicine either by mere luck or intense hardwork . but from here where to? More than the destination is the path that excites us. It's the enthusiasm that cuts obstacles leading to a smooth path.  Sometimes we look at pool and think it's pretty deep to swim through,to our surprise it's a shallow water body and vice versa. The problems appear huge quite a number of times , but if you have a proper sword and mind you get out of it , either by sheer luck or mind games. Medicine is like the reality show *Roadies*. The tasks they give you might be simple or dinosaur like, but you are evicted based on your ability to perform under pressure. There are ugly bald headers abusing you for being inconsistent , timid . You gradually learn to be sly , diplomatic , aggressive , wise at the same time . You learn when you ought to be selfish and selfless . When to say ,*NO!*. There are always times when you want

Final Year - Hell Year

Hello Girlies! These are the typical bad days filled with self-doubt and moods and the impossible desire for twenty-five hour-days.The angst leading up to those exams.  Recognise that the exams we are about to enter will comprise probably one of the hardest weeks of our lives so far. Recognise that you are more than prepared. +The fear of final year drains people more than the syllabus actually. The constant pressure to pass out is never ending , the determination to remember everything and that you have learnt nothing is huge. ++With so much stress already , you have family expectations to live up to . Many of us , being the eldest or the youngest of the siblings have to be part essential decision making in family politics. Well , some might be well versed with it while some are left in dilemma. +++ This point would not have been there if this was a decade earlier . But the constant pressure to look good , feel good , impress people is always there . Youngsters these days are more con

28 Types of Medigirls in VRK hostel

Hello my fellas! Remember what Nick Carraway’s father told him in ‘The Great Gatsby’? “Whenever you feel like criticizing anyone, just remember that all the people in this world haven't had the advantages that you've had." But then there are many things that shouldnot have been the way they are now, but they are! So let's shoot!  Once in a hostel one has huge chances that they will either mess up or get ready for the real life, not under their parents’ supervision.choosing to move into a hostel itself is a huge thing for Muslim girls in a state of AP , I mean Telangana . But as a matter of fact Hostels happen to be a pretty funny place with almost every kind of human character around you, and after you move out of the place you know for a fact that you’ll survive under any condition. Hostels are everything the world should be and everything the world shouldn’t be, all at once. While every hostel is unique, the crowd passing through tends to be more or less the same. We’
