Defining enough

Hey all Sometimes you realise your feelings and thoughts kind of syn with some articles. Here is one from NVC , very relevant and must read! You never know what is enough until you know what is more than enough.   —William Blake Do you ever find yourself working and working, but not really knowing what success would look like? I realized that I spent a lot of my energy striving to be the best, but because I didn’t know what the best was, I never achieved my goal. There was always someone better, something else I could be learning, and something else I should be doing. It was a relentless search for an impossible goal. This focus brought enormous pain and disappointment into my life. So I set out to discover for myself what “enough” would look like. For me, it’s simply doing my best in any moment. When we understand that our behaviors are an attempt to meet our needs, we can become more skilled at choosing behaviors that will help us succeed at this. The result is more ease, fun, depth, and joy in our relationships and in our lives. Needs connect us to our own and other people's humanness. The following is a partial list of feelings: happy, sad, joyful, scared, angry, ticked off, ecstatic, absorbed, involved, comfortable, cozy, calm, contented, peaceful, affectionate, loving, energetic, enthusiastic. Notice that many of these statements start out either, "I feel like?", or "I feel you." Whenever you catch yourself starting a sentence in this way, be aware that you are probably about to state a thought instead of a feeling! Is it a feeling or a thought?  The speaker is expressing a
